Your first visit
It is very important during your first visit, to complete a written form that includes several questions regarding both your general health and your dental history. This will inform us about any communicable diseases, and if it is necessary to follow medication for allergy sufferers, blood problems or general issues of direct relevance to your overall clinical health.
You will also need to provide additional information that includes; the reason of your visit, if you follow the appropriate oral hygiene instructions, if you have undergone any surgery in the oral cavity and any other information that may be important for us to provide the proper dental treatment.
A full complement history will allow for us to get a clear picture of your general health, which will largely determine the route of treatment you will follow, eliminating any potential health complications and improving your overall oral health.
What to expect
At Pasadora Family Dental Centre you can expect to receive friendly and customized attention during your visit. First, you will be greeted by our friendly staff followed by a private consultation with one of our qualified dentists to discuss your goals and concerns. Together we will plan a course of treatment to help you achieve a healthy, beautiful, long lasting smile.
Your examination will include:
- Digital X-rays
- Periodontal screening (for gum disease)
- Dental caries (cavities) screening
- Oral cancer screening
- Occlusal analysis including examination of the TMJ and jaw position
Dental Insurance and Payment Options.
For some new patients to our office, the first visit is for an emergency or a specific concern; in this case we will first attend to the emergency situation or concern making you and your family as comfortable as possible.

Insurance
At Pasadora Family Dental Centre we accept all major insurance and the majority of our dental procedures are covered by general insurance.
Our committed staff will work with you to help maximize your benefits and submit all claim forms on your behalf. If you do not have dental insurance or if your treatment is not covered by dental insurance, we also accept cash or credit.
